Dato’ Dr Rajbans Singh

Dato’ Dr Rajbans Singh was granted a government scholarship to pursue his sub-specialisation in Geriatrics at Cardiff Royal Group of Hospitals in 1994 where he served at Cardiff as an Honorary Registrar. Later that year, he completed his Diploma in Geriatric Medicine at Royal College of Physicians in London.  He is the first in the country to start the practice of Healthy Aging Centre and the president of Malaysian Stemcell Association. He is also a Certified Nutrigenomics Practitioner and International Medical Advisor to Fitgenes Australia.

  • The Malaysian Gerontological Association
  • The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine
  • The British Geriatrics Society

Dato’ Dr Rajbans is the Founding Member and Past President of the Malaysian Healthy Aging Society. Now, he heads the Malaysian Wellness Society as its President. He has developed a course on ‘Wellness and Healthy Aging’ in collaboration with Open University Malaysia where the focus is on educating the public on preventive health, wellness and longevity.

Presently, Dato’ Dr. Rajbans Singh is a Medical Director at The  Laureate Wellness Centre. Also, Dato’ Dr Rajbans has been invited to give numerous talks on healthy aging and wellness, and has presented at many medical conferences in Malaysia, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. He has also written numerous articles on health and wellness related issues in local publications, health magazines and medical publications. He has spoken to many corporations, clubs and associations on the concept of healthy aging including Nestle, Cerebros, Standard Chartered, HSBC, OCBC, UOB, Hong Leong Bank, Serono, Aventis, IJM, ExxonMobil, Public Mutual, IJM and etc.

Besides, Dato’ Dr Rajbans has a regular radio show every Thursday on Lite FM where he speaks on various health issues. He has a keen interest in the ageing process, especially in the early detection and prevention of disease processes. He believes in the motto: ‘Live Long, Live Well’

Dr. Raja Ahmad Shaharul (or more fondly called Dr. Shah) is a Family Medicine Specialist with special interest in disease prevention and wellness.

Medically trained for undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in the UK, he holds Specialist qualification in Family Medicine and a Diploma in Geriatric Medicine.

Presently, Dr. Shah is a certified Nutrigenomics Practitioner that offer personalised wellness planning at The Beacon Laureate, a healthcare management arm of the Beacon International Specialist Centre. However his passion lies in chronic disease prevention and healthy lifestyle modification.

He’s also a gadget freak as he is keen in using technology to help individuals keep track and improve their health and wellness. An avid runner and cyclist, Dr. Shah has a soft spot for Sports and Exercise Medicine and truly believes that prevention is better than cure!

As the member of Malaysian Wellness Society, she shares her passion and focus in educating the public on preventive health. Through her practice in this field, she provides health management and intervention for those who has suffered with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), diabetes, cancer and patient with heart problem.

She has vast experience as speaker in delivering health wellness talks to hospital staffs, public and corporate organisation such as SAP Software and Solution, CIMB bank, Great Eastern, Genting Berhad, Gamuda Berhad and to many clubs and associations.
