Yoghurt is a dairy product made by fermenting milk with a yogurt culture. Yoghurt contains calcium, vitamins B6 and B12, riboflavin, potassium, and magnesium. 
Yoghurt has many health benefits ranging from protecting individual against osteoporosis, promoting bone health, relieving irritable bowel disease and aiding digestion to increase healthy gut bacteria.
Some yoghurt contains active, living bacteria known as probiotics, which can help to keep the intestines healthy. Probiotic bacteria in yoghurt help to protect children and pregnant women to against the effects of heavy metal exposure.
